The Temple, in the heart of London, is a beautiful, serene and even secret place. Lying peacefully between two of London’s busiest thoroughfares, Fleet Street and the Embankment, the Temple’s gardens, courtyards, ancient buildings and historic Temple Church is a place that is treasured by those who know it and astonishes those who find it for the first time.

Julius Drake , artistic director of the Temple Song Series, was captivated by Middle Temple Hall, the Temple Church, Inner Temple Gardens and all the surroundings and buildings which make up the Temple. The germ of an idea that such a place would make performances of song and chamber music a particularly special experience encouraged him to plan and deliver this outstanding series of concerts.

In 2008 he brings a third series of outstanding and international singers to Middle Temple Hall.
